Saint Jews has been an official member of Declansburg in some capacity since April 21, 2022. During this period of time, while Saint Jews has been a member of the Assembly, This body has passed An Act to Create a Temporary Honor System and the Engagement Rules of War. During the entirety of Saint Jews' residency in Declansburg, the Baversonburg Conventions have been in effect. We establish this informational baseline in light of the fact that Saint Jews is charged with one count of godmodding by the Ministry of Cultural Affairs, and one count of misconduct by The Evergreen Republic. Saint Jews is charged with Godmodding (link to relevant law) by the Ministry of Cultural Affairs because of the following reasons: Saint Jews is currently entered into a war against Pac Derman. This war was declared on August 8 at 6AM NationStates time. Several hours after this war was declared, Saint Jews began bombing missions on Pac Derman's nation. The next day, August 9 at roughly 11PM NationStates time, Saint Jews began a land invasion of Pac Derman. Hours before launching the land invasion, Saint Jews posted three factbooks---which appeared to be designed specifically for use in this nation's war against Pac Derman. As has been established by An Act to Create a Temporary Honor System: military numbers must be reasonably based on population. Nations are advised not to "go nuts" with RP numbers and NS stats are used as a rough baseline for an honor system.When Saint Jews published their factbooks, among other things, they announced their nation has 3.8M active personnel, 25M reserve personnel, 23,000 aircraft (5,800 fighters/6,500 attack aircraft/etc.), over 60 aircraft carriers, 216 missile cruisers. We submit that these numbers are a violation of An Act to Create a Temporary Honor System because: - The entered numbers from Saint Jews dwarf the military sizes of larger countries in the region, even those with more advanced defense force rankings
- The population of Saint Jews (871 million) is well below other nations with comparable defense stats in the region, which disregards the Act to Create a Temporary Honor System
- Saint Jews used numbers that were non-conforming with regional norms to conquer territory of Pac Derman
Saint Jews is a nation with less than one billion citizens. While this nation has good defense force rankings with a large arms manufacturing industry, we submit that these numbers are not not only inflated but that these factbooks were entered solely to defeat Pac Derman in war that Saint Jews had declared against this nation.
We submit that this action was malicious in nature because of the relevant Misconduct (link to relevant law) charge. The following was posted on the Regional Message Board in Declansburg. On August 9 at around 4PM NationStates time, Saint Jews wrote the following words: "The enemies have decided not to resolve the conflict diplomatically, so we must take extreme measures, in the event of continued hostilities from New Bradfordsburg we will be forced to use our entire nuclear arsenal against the attackers."Furthermore, Saint Jews wrote: "I don't want to threaten and use nuclear weapons, but if you don't understand the other All I have to do is press the button" These statements were issued by Saint Jews in an official RP capacity and were attributed to the nation's Empress. We allege these statements as misconduct because they openly threaten violations of the Baversonburg Conventions, which prohibit the use of CBRN in conflict, and the Rules of Engagement, which prohibits the targeting of civilians. We submit that these statements show complete disregard for the well-being of the Declansburg community at-large due to the following factors: - Saint Jews' RP language against New Bradfordsburg could be considered conduct unbecoming of an Assembly nation by way of behaviour that a reasonable person would consider wildly malicious
Saint Jews may contend that they were not wrong to issue a threat of nuclear annihilation due to the fact that New Bradfordsburg had promised to bring the war for the liberation of Pac Derman to the Saint Jews mainland if they did not withdraw from Pac Derman. We believe this would be an attempt to deflect form the fact that Saint Jews issued a threat of nuclear annihilation. Any attempts to deflect from that fact should be disregarded by this court. New Bradfordsburg never threatened or even hinted at the use of CBRN. These words need to be owned by Saint Jews.
We conclude our opening statements by saying this.
Saint Jews has acted as an aggressor, seeking to take advantage of the Pac Derman/Platoon of Peace crisis by invading the weakened nation of Pac Derman. New Bradforsburg became involved due to a friendly diplomatic posture with Pac Derman, and engaged in an attempted liberation of the island. As more information became available, it became clear that Saint Jews was hellbent on conquering a fellow Assembly nations. Saint Jews refused to concede damages after a massive New Bradforsburg coordinated assault with Pac Derman involving nearly 1M lbs. of explosives in the form of Elam missiles and attacks from the Evergreen Southern Carrier Group.
All the while, Saint Jews was operating with military numbers formulated after his declaration of war, inflated beyond reason and without proper consideration of his population and national capabilities, therefore giving him an unfair advantage over the competition.
Furthermore, Saint Jews responded to a conventional military engagement by threatening nuclear holocaust. This is unconscionable. It is even more unconscionable that these threats were issued against the founding nation of this region. For the aforementioned reasons, we move for an immediate conviction of Saint Jews on both charges so this can be brought before the Judicial Official Shreminov for sentencing.

Thank to Brad for wasting 5 mins of my life trying to read all that junk. (In all seriousness that is pretty good). First off I would like to address the absurdity of the misconduct part of the crimes. I will begin by showing you what is wrote as misconduct in the law: " Conduct unbecoming of an Assembly nation by way of serious harassment, malicious trolling, abusive language, or other behaviour that a reasonable person would consider wildly inappropriate, offensive or malicious." Ok so lets check off the list, Not harassment, not trolling, not language, and none of that is offensive or wildly inappropriate(And not really malicious). Which brings us to the reason he is being charged with this in the 1st place. He threatened Brad. If he had threatened anyone else this would not have happened. I threatened to nuke Necro once and nothing happened so why is this different? Well you know the answer. Just because Brad is founder does not mean when he is threatened that he can bring someone to court. Theoretically that could be considered Abuse of Power. All those threats were empty and hollow. Saint Jews know the CBRN rules well enough to know using them spells certain doom. Brad even said he had been here after the laws of war were signed. While this threat does put fear into some nations, (Which is why he said it) these threats are hollow and have no malicious intent. I also see that Brad has compiled 0 evidence that he would ever fire the nukes and had any intent of actually using WMD's. Thank you, I will wait for a response. Also how long will the trial last? |
