WORLD NEWS BRIEF
Elected Delegate Tops Pallaith with Endorsement Count
The North Pacific (TNP) - Kaschovia, who was elected as TNP's delegate in September, now holds the delegacy after going three months without being seated as TNP's delegate in the World Assembly.
Kaschovia passed Pallaith in endorsements on Dec. 16 and now holds 835 endorsements to Pallaith's 772 endorsements.
Pallaith, who had held the delegacy, sounded off on TNP's critics in the region's embassy and accused raiders for much of the recent difficulties faced by the region.
"TNP does not feel any shame actually, nor do we give any weight to advice or sentiment from the very same people who have deliberately interfered with our regional business, have done their own part to delay this transition, and are currently engaged in war with us," Pallaith wrote in a Dec. 15 post in TNP's embassy.
In August, TNP became the victim of a delegate tipping operation launched by Brotherhood of Malice and The Communist Bloc, according information posted by TNP officials. As previously reported by The Illuminator, The North Star, TNP's regional newspaper, called the August 27 delegate tip "the most significant attack on TNP in a decade."
Pallaith explained some further reasons behind Kaschovia's delayed ascendancy to the delegacy.
"Kasch[ovia] came into the delegacy with a historically large gap compared to previous delegates, one that took longer to fill than in past years because of the different state of the game and the WAs available to us," Pallaith wrote. "For years TNP has had the benefit of handing over the delegacy to individuals who were already among the top endorsed in the region, which always leads to a swift transition. This year’s trouble with our delegates is well-known and documented, and further contributed to this less than ideal handover."
