WORLD NEWS BRIEF
The North Pacific's Newspaper Details War Victories
The North Pacific (TNP) - The North Star, which serves as The North Pacific's official regional newspaper, has described recent successes following a historic and brazen attack against the region in August.
Two regions - Brotherhood of Malice and The Communist Bloc - have been blamed for the attack, which came in the form of a "delegate tip." For those unaware, delegate tips are when a nation, usually an unassuming native, is elevated to the delegacy by outside forces to break an elected delegate's "streak" of days in office. It's a nasty trick used to exert brute force. TNP, which maintains close ties with Declansburg, declared an official state of war against both regions in response.
Since August, TNP's army has met the perpetrators of the August delegate tip on the battlefield several times - in Far East Oriental Federation and the Philippines. TNP's The North Star newspaper called the August 27 delegate tip "the most significant attack on TNP in a decade," in their latest news post, found at this link.
"The infamy of that invasion will go down in NationStates's history - our democracy was attacked, our sovereignty violated, and our dignity insulted with relentless raider provocations. Faced with this brazen aggression, our citizens stood together and overwhelmingly ratified the declaration of war against these two raider organisations, as well as their allies and territories," The North Star stated, before adding that many had joined the North Pacific Army since the August attack.
This has been a world news brief for The Illuminator submitted by New Bradfordsburg.
