Korvalis also points out that this map is in direct violation of the Cramer-John Oceanic Act which limits a nation's control of the ocean to within 50 miles of its coastline.

I think the PM can step in and say it's illegal. I did it once.

Radiant Armed Forces Releases Planned Route of Benevolence Bay Carrier GroupAs tensions mount surrounding Pravitel's nautical claims, The Evergreen Republic is releasing the planned route of the Benevolence Bay Carrier Group, which intends to rendezvous with naval assets from Korvalis upon reaching its destination."Pravitel's oceanic claims challenge the freedom of navigation in international waters. All nations should be able to exercise the right to freely navigate waters declared as international in the Cramer-John Oceanic Act." -Dux Bradford John NBNS NEWS - The planned route of the Evergreen Republic's prized carrier group will take it through disputed waters north of unclaimed areas on the central continent. The nation is anxious tonight as thousands of naval servicemen and women head into an uncertain voyage. The Radiant Armed Forces are hopeful the freedom of navigation in international waters will be respected by Pravitel. The voyage is meant to be a show of support for the Evergreen Republic's ally, Korvalis, which is a member of the Evergreen Pact.

EVERGREEN CABLE ON THE MATTERS RELATING TO RECENT "DISPUTED WATERS" "The Evergreen Republic respects nations of all types and we have high respect for Islamic Republics, such as the one that rules Pravitel, just as we have high respect for all people of the world. This spirit of inclusion is accentuated by certain agreements that exist between nations, which acknowledge shared duty in stewardship of the planet and highlight the shared nature of our existence together. One of these accentuations is the freedom of navigation between nations in international waters. This has been solidified in the Cramer-John Oceanic Act, as passed by the Declansburg Assembly. The Evergreen Republic implores the nations calling on Korbalis for aggression to look in the mirror. Who is firing high-powered water cannons at ships travelling in international waters? Certainly not Korvalis. This is not right. We expect our Carrier Group to remain safe during its voyage and we expect these shenanigans to cease in the seas south of Pravitel."

Schulz labels Pravitel’s nautical claims as ‘not legal’ according to Cramer-John Act.
In a statement released by the regional PM’s Office, Chancellor Acwulf Schulz has labeled the questioned nautical claims announced by Pravitel as “not legal” as they go against the regulations set forth by the Cramer-John Act. “The Cramer-John Act was approved by Declansburg’s Assembly to prevent claims such as those made by Pravitel. The CJA ensures every nation 50 miles off their coasts as nationally-controlled waters and anything beyond that is just not legal. We are a region of laws and it is expected that we all adhere by them, and any disputes should be referred to my office,” Schulz wrote in the official PM statement.
