FINAL DRAFT
The position will be called the Arbiter, and will be responsible for GM'ing military conflicts as there are quite a few moving parts that an impartial observer will need to keep track of (strategy bonuses, troop movements on the Battle Boards, troop status's (ie how long a given unit has been encircled on a Battle Board) and other status effects such as range in Interstellar battles. Not only will the office settle godmod disputes, but will be in charge of ensuring they do not arise to begin with. The arbiter is also in charge of implementing a code of war or rules to go by.
-------- *initial discussion is below/ not the official language of proposed law.
This type of court would be related to military matters in the judicial realm. The ministry of defense would serve also as the Judge Advocate General or another to serve under the Minister of Defense. Even so another under the MOD or JAG they would be responsible of hiring of nations of being JAG lawyers that would represent nations in JAG court.
Purpose of creation would be for military applied from existing Declansburg law and settle any godmodding disputes. My idea is either a one person judge panel which would be JAG or a three person panel which would be the JAG, MOD, and the DUX. If my role includes MOD and JAG then perhaps assistant JAG be created or attorney general of the region would be included. Right now the development of court structure is sketchy and considering what military code it should go by which Anacodia could be of use here.
One other idea is have the heads of alliances in region to serve as associate judges alongside the JAG.

I feel like Anacodia had an idea for something similar, but not quite this refined. I will sponsor this and also send him a link

I do like the idea of a 3 person panel. Staidear is correct, this is an idea being implemented into the new system. The position will be called the Arbiter, and will be responsible for GM'ing military conflicts as there are quite a few moving parts that an impartial observer will need to keep track of (strategy bonuses, troop movements on the Battle Boards, troop status's (ie how long a given unit has been encirled on a Battle Board) and other status effects such as range in Interstellar battles. Not only will the office settle godmod disputes, but will be in charge of ensuring they do not arise to begin with

I know with this and other ideas out there weโll establish something refined and fair.

There is a lot hammer out on details for an official proposal so it can be voted on.

So what's happening with this. Should I move it, or are amendments still going to be made. I'll support as well.
