Inside the rusty cage of a command deck, the warrior-poet speaks to the holy fighters
"Rainy night sky..... lighting striking upon the ocean surface. The trumpets of war and glory blare. Our hearts beat, blessed upon us by Lord Akira, the ship of treasures. Each bounty makes us stronger. We are not the savage pirate, who seeks treasure upon only himself! We are disciples of the Emperor! We are immortal warriors who fight for the Lord! Stand ye those who deem themselves worthy!"
Raising from kneeling, five soldiers, holding refined steel firearms, their helmets glow a menacing red. They put their weaponry, and hold on to their arms, raising both of them to the sky, and yelling the most significant word in all of the Jesian language. Banzai!
"BANZAI! BANZAI! BANZAI!"
"WE SERVE THE RISING SUN HIMSELF! WE SERVE THE HOLY DUTY OF THE EMPEROR AND THE WILL OF THE CREATOR!"
"BANZAI! BANZAI! BANZAI!"
"The rising sun will shine upon us... do not disappoint"
The armor, manufactured and crafted with the most advanced technologies available, using advanced material that was neither steel nor plastic, but a familiar similarity to both. It has plates going off the shoulders, in a repeating manner as well as red in color.
The firearm. Of the nation's design. Created from the ground up, inspired by stolen and scavenged foreign designs, as well as having independent creation of its own. Its rough rectilinear shape made those who yielded it look minuscule in comparison. It has a nasty fiery shot, the shot run off like a laser shot.
The helmet, is the part Jesians love to put the most work into. The Jesians believe in showing valor and glory in combat. To shy away from this is uncanny to them. So, to show off your bravery, helmets come in a wide array of differing designs. The helmet, was almost pitch black except for the two bright blue horns sticking out from the top. The helmet has a menacing grin, sharp teeth, and an ugly nostril. The eyes are dark red, etched in such a way to stare at whoever looks upon the helmet with its cold unblinking eyes. Red patterns decorate the helmet, with each design created with extreme detail.
The men, were some of the greatest soldiers to serve. They have seen war, they were born in war. They serve the will of the Emperor and the divine thought of the Lord. Prime warrior worthy to die in combat. They want it, they need it. Nothing else matters.
Suddenly, the ship detects something on the radar
(Captain.... we are reading something unusual here...")
(Unusual? Something wrong with the weather?)
(No. See the radar? Something is wrong with it. One minute its detecting something... then the next second its like nothing there!)
(Let me see this!)
The radar scans once, nothing is showing.
The radar scans again. Nothing as well.
Then, a quick blip passes by.
Nothing again
(See that? It disappears!)
(Wait a second kid....)
The radar scans. Nothing
Scans again. The blip is shown again.
The captain mentally notes the position of the blip
The radar scans. Nothing
Scans again. The blip. It's only a few feet away
(Oh g-)
Seconds after that, a massive explosion hits the side of the warship. The crew is in disarray, chaos has taken. From the burning ship, five soldiers jump off onto the main deck. The placid soldiers walk to nearby soldiers, and callously shoot them. All of them are dead-shots. The alarms blare, armed navy-men rush to maintain position. Their guns.... their guns are shooting bright burning lights!
(CALL COMMAND! TELL THEM WE ARE UNDER ATTACK FROM UNKNOWN HOSTILE FORCE!)
(YES SIR! Command! Command! Respond immediately we are under attack from unknown hostile force, our ship is damaged and men are KIA! I repeat we are under attack!)
The radio blurs out scrambled words and noises. Then from the radio, a calm uncanny voice speaks out
"Gomen'nasai. Mo komando ni setsuzoku dekimasen. Mo teokuredesu."
(What the hell is wrong with... Call command!)
(I'm trying!)
"Gomen. You should all just accept the inevitable. Relax and sit down. The sharp blade rests upon your neck already."
The room pauses in silence
(Screw it, all men to the front position now! Five of them versus all of us!)
(Yes sir!)
(You... keep trying to get through to command.)
(Yes sir!)
The sound of gunfire draws closer
