Khazarite Riots Quashed by Camian Military Division
The Camian First Division, led by prominent and often outspoken militarist Aluf Dori have moved into the Khazarite neighborhoods, using the shoot-to-kill policy to murder rioters en-mass, sending the crowds fleeing into back alleys to escape the hail of gun fire from Camian APCs. tonight, Aluf Dori has declared the riot dispersed, refusing to comment on the alleged use of private militias and lynch mobs to keep Khazarites within their own homes. government sources claim 122 dead, 533 injured, with on the ground sources claiming upwards of 1300~ casualties. the government has stated these claims are "false information" designed to "scare Camian's at home" Martial Law in the Capital
tanks and APCs trundle through downtown as Aluf Dori, the commander of the central military district declares full martial law, with waves of riot police patrolling the streets, ordering people back into their homes often by simply shooting at their doors as they leave. human rights groups call for this "authoritarian and aggressive lockdown" to be lifted for those who require medical care or medication. Aluf Dori states it will lift once "lowlifes are dashed from the streets and away from Camian storefronts" Elections Around Corner - is Bachar ready? with the election season coming into full swing, only 30% of polled voters believe that Bachar is their preferred Prime Minister. concerningly, his VP, Ehud Shamir, is rising for his moderate beleifs, with figures such as Aluf Dori and Tzvi Melikov, the two nationalists rising. recently, Yitzhak Kozhukhov, a strong armed progressive has seen a bound in his popularity after appearing at the late Roylaiian emperors funeral.
only time can tell. will the long summer end?

Church of Camia intervenes against the government in shocking turn, the sworn apolitical Speaker of the Union, the 18 year old Amrana, has declared she has taken a stance against the governments actions against the khazar people. she states that she cannot be sworn to her oath while people are shot and killed on the street for voicing their fair say. this move has received intense praise from across the ethnic divide, drawing the two races together. with one analyst stating: "this will be the turning point for Cordonshur.", we will have to wait and see whether or not this be an upwards turn or not...
Government looks into drafting a revised civil rights agreement as debate over the first reading begins over the possibility of revising the Civil Rights Agreement, riots continue to rage across Cordonshur. Bachar has promised to the public that if it gets through the parliamentary vote, he will pass it, no matter if he agrees with it or not. "very clearly, Prime Minister Bachar is desperate. he needs to control the Khazar population, even if it means caving a few of his moral standings. no doubt, the legislation will be performative at best." states a Khazar Political Scientist. despite this, many Khazar National Committees state that they would be open to signing this revised agreement.

Platform Day approaches - is the state in a good enough shape? Platform Day, the annual celebration of our nations birth approaches. But is Cordonshur ready for it? with the recent Summer Riots dying down, left behind is thousands of casualties and many more homeless. our military overstretched and underequipped. Platform Day is meant to be a show of national achievement, but we have little to show this year but downturn. Bachar has to spin this the right way or may he face the wrath of gods and men...
