Best National Sport: Lxirdiis (Lxir Fighting)
Lxirdiis is a traditional Ctokian sport played in a circle with a 10 foot (3 meter) diameter. Players wear suits called riixsen in matches that have outlines circles on both arms, hands, legs, feet, as well as on both sides of your torso and head. The suits come equipped with goggles that only allow you to see the other person's circles, not your own. During the game, the circles randomly light up. The goal is to hit the circles on the other person's riixsen with long sticks called lxirs (similar to a bo staff). The circles can either glow red or blue. Hitting a red circle gains you 1 point, and accounts for 80% of all circles. Hitting a blue circle gives you 3 points, and accounts for the other 20%. The game is over when someone has hit twelve circles (red or blue) and then points are added. Note that the person who ended the game may not be the winner. The game is strategic and is all about sneaking up on your opponent while also being receptive to attacks.
Comeback Story of the Year: Nitxe Leros (Baseball)
During the last inning of the game, Nitxe's team, the Pylos, were down 4-1. The Pylos had a losing streak of 13 and hadn't won a game yet in the season. He was watching the game live and decided that he wasn't going to put up with the losses anymore. He drove to the game and hobbled in in his cast. He ended up hitting a home run and winning the game 5-4.

Best National Sport: Silvigna Silvigna is Ovisnias tradition sport. It's similar to capture the flag, but you play it over a week with 3 teams. The 69 players (23 on each team) are not allowed to leave the arena, which is a unknown place, unless you have a injury. The players must capture the other teams standard and who has the most standards at the end wins. The players live in the arena so they have to build a shelter. They can find useful equipment at the starting point. They don't have to gather or hunt their food but they have to prepare it. Each player has a band around their waist. If it gets pulled of, they "lose their life" and are out. This can happen when the other teams raid. The players always have to be aware. The game is very strategic, because it's played over longer periods of time and you could always lose just before the end.
Comeback Story of the Year: Athus Paderus (Silvigna) Atrus Paderus a Silvigna player of the team Nebula Eburaca suffered a double tendon rupture at a match. He was taken out of the game and the doctors forbid him to go to the next games. He didn’t listen to them and fought the next match with his team. He had serious problems with his legs, but managed to stay alive. They were nearly at the end of a round and there where only 5 players, including himself who fought off a raid of Silvestris. They had entrenched themselves in a cave. He and a team mate were able to break through the lines and was able to capture his teams standard and the one of the other team to.
Team of the Year: Silvestris (Silvigna) Silvesters won almost every game of the Silvigna league and have broken an Ovisnian record for the most wins in a league and the most consecutive wins. It’s there first title ever, so this season is a very special one. Wins: 5/6 Loses: 1/6
Athlete of the Year: Marc Montus (Swimming) The Swimmer has done many outstanding performances this year: Marc Monus is the first Ovisnian to swim the whole of the Ovisnian coastline. He rose about 1.24 million Nias for charity by doing it. He has also won the Ovisnian national swimming contest for the 3 time in row. This year he was also voted to be Ovisnias most good-looking Athlete.
