Seeing the recent deployment of orbital weapons by certain nations and the threat that kind of weapon places not only the intended target but the world. Vobron proposes the following legislation under the name of “The Safer Stars Act” to promote a safe and peaceful final frontier:
1. A complete ban on the maintenance and creation of orbital weapons due to the threat they pose. Making it illegal to own, create, or operate such weapons.
2. The complete and full demilitarization of space (defined as the removal of active weapons) as space is something that should be shared among all for discovery and exploration, not another theatre for war and destruction.
