Official Dispatches from Urania Information about what is happening in Urania King Alban leaves capital city
It has been reported that King Alban has left Kulmana, capital city of the Kingdom of Urania. Meanwhile, fighting continues in the eastern districts of the city, where the remaining troops loyal to General Dardan were forced to withdraw.
Qemal Fishta, President of the Provisional Government, has assured that order will be likely restored in the coming days. He has also declared that, despite recent rumours, the government does not plan to abolish the monarchy. "The political process must continue, but we will enforce the current constitutional order", he declared.
"The monarch is not welcomed in Qenderesh"
The Revolutionary Council of Qenderesh has declared that King Alban will not be welcomed in Qenderesh, second largest city of the nation. However, they have promised that they will continue their cooperation and negotiations with the central government.

President Fishta announces elections
Qemal Fishta, President of the Provisional Government, has confirmed that legislative elections to the Constituent Assembly will be held this month as previously planned.
The elections were temporarily suspended followed the military uprising led by General Dardan and Major Camaj. The elections will be held under the new electoral law, passed five months ago.
President Fishta, a former Minister of Justice, was appointed following the assassination of Admir Macula, who headed the Provisional Government for nine months.
New authority announce in Koder
Lieutenant-Colonel Sokol Kurti has announced that a new civic-military local government will be established in the city of Koder.

King Alban arrives to Koder
It has been reported that King Alban has arrived to the city of Koder. It has been informed that the king met with Lieutenant-Colonel Sokol Kurti, who heads the local government. The King arrived with his family without incidences, local media has reported.
However, the rest of the royal family, including King Alban's sister, Princess Shpresa, remains in Kulmana.

Counteroffensive in Kulmana
Troops loyal to General Dardan have launched a new attack in Kulmana metropolitan area, aimed to assist the eastern district. At least 50 government casualties were reported.
Situation in Koder remains calm
Lieutenant-Colonel Sokol Kurti has expressed his loyalty to the Provisional Government.
King Alban has reportedly spoken with President Qemal Fishta this morning. According to sources close to the crown, the King expressed his will to return to Kulmana once the situation is solved.

Central government issues decree on national security
President Qemal Fishta has issued a decree, establishing the National Guard, which will include both reservists and volunteers. So far, the creation of this law enforcement force will be limited to the capital city.

Reinforcement sent to capital city
The Revolutionary Council of Qenderesh has announced that it will authorize sending reinforcements to Kulmana. The move is aimed to end the armed insurrection in order to allow the coming election to be held nationwide.
General strike called in Divjasan
Protestors and student have joined the general strike called in Divjasan. The protectors demand the resignation of the local governor and the establishment of price controls on basic goods.

Despite unprecedented casualties between government forces, troops loyal to General Dardan have failed advance considerably in Kulmana.
Count of Rugova leaves the capital city
Gezim Toptani-Rugova, Count of Rugova, has reportedly fled the capital city. The count, who is married with King Alban's a cousin, had served as Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs in President Admir Macula's government.

March to Brendesne
Major Camaj has ordered troops under his command to start their withdrawal from Kulmana, after weeks of fighting. The move seems motivated to avoid an encirclement of his forces around the capital city.
Turmoil continues in Divjasan
Agron Dones, mayor of Divjasan, has announced his resignation. Dones had been appointed two months ago by the Provisional Government, but he failed to pacify the increasing social unrest in the town, only a few miles from Koder.
Election to hold as planned
The President of the Provisional Government, Qemal Fishta, has announced that elections will not be suspended or postponed, and they are going to be held where that is possible.
He has also confirmed that those places where holding election or establishing safe poll stations would be possible, those seats will continue under the current incumbent representatives, at least until a by-election can be organized.

People's Action Front claims attacks
The People's Action Front, a para-military group has claimed attacks against the forces of Major Camaj in the withdrawal toward the south. It is unconfirmed the number of casualties in both sides.
Election to the Constituent Assembly
The first results for the second Constituent Assembly from fifty-two towns, including Kulmana, Koder, and Qenderesh, have already come in. These preliminary results are the following.

President Qemal Fishta addresses Urania
Qemal Fishta, President of the Provisional Government, has addressed the nation following the election to the Constituent Assembly, in which moderate and conservatives forces, including the pro-government "National Movement", lost the majority of the seats in the legislative chamber.
Fishta insisted that the role of the Constituent Assembly is merely to discuss a new constitution, and his government will continue with the agenda announced, aimed to restore order and improve the economy.
Unrest continues in Divjasan
Protests continue in Divjasan, despite the mayor and governor resignation in the recent days. A group of students and activists had seized the town council in a "symbolic occupation". Police forces have withdrawn from downtown.
General strike
Several unions called a general strike nationwide until their demands are recognized. The Labour Party and the communists have backed the strike in Kulmana and other cities.

President Fishta resigns
Following the refusal of the National Guard to be deployed in downtown Kulmana, Qemal Fishta, the President of the Provisional Government, has announced his resignation.
He was rumoured to be in negotiations with the leadership of the Social People's Party, after an increase of protests in the capital city, but negotiations reportedly failed this morning.
Protests expand to Koder and other cities
Protesters calling for both control of prices for basic food products and a constitutional government have erupted in Koder and other cities.

King Alban announces abdication
After failing negotiations between the armed forces leadership, members of the Constituent Assembly, and representatives close to General Dardan for a transition toward an united government, King Alban has announced his resignation.
Princess Shpresa has declined to exercise the royal authority, following the imposibility to address the Constituent Assembly in the current circurstances and the lack of consensus on constitutional reform.
The Provisional Government has been dissolved
The leadership of the Constituent Assembly has announced the dissolution of the Provisional Government, which is expected to be replaced by another executive body in the coming hours.
The move, however, was only supported by 54 of 101 representatives in the Constituent Assembly. National Movement and the Conservative Party has declared the move as "illegal and unconstitutional".

Republic of Urania is proclaimed
Eqrem Dizdari, Speaker of the Constituent Assembly, has announced the proclamation of the Republic of Urania, following a close vote.
Opposition and minority representatives have opposed the move, declaring it to be unlawful and unconstitutional.
New leadership established
The Constituent Assembly has established the formation of the National Council for Internal Affairs and the National Council for Foreign Policy and National Security. Under new legislation, only lawmakers can be appointed to these bodies.
The National Council for Internal Affairs will be headed by Fatos Peci, former leader of the Republican Party.
The Constituent Assembly has also passed the National Military Council, which will replace the General Staff of the Royal Forces, under a new military leadership. Unlike the other two executive councils, it is not required to be a member of the parliament.
Agrarian reform announced
The Constituent Assembly has established that land ownership of more than 250 acres will be confiscated by the state. Fatos Peci has promised to distribute the land in a coming decree.
Regional conference called
It was announced that a Regional Conference of local representatives will be held in Kulmana. Although the conference is not a state body, the leadership of the Constituent Assembly has promised to send a delegation.

Government coalition takes new step toward unity
The Social People's Party, the Labour Party, the Communist Party, the Republican Party, and other minor organizations have agreed into a new government platform following a national conference hold in the capital city. The mentioned political parties, which joined or supports the current government coalition established following the resignation of Qemal Fishta as President of the Provisional Government, also agreed to merge into a new political party, under a collective leadership. It is expected that the new organization in a coming congress. The mentioned organization will be officially dissolved in the coming days and to gather under the name of "People's National Party". The new leadership will be assigned proportinally to their number of representatives in the Constituent Assembly, as well as a number of representatives nominated by local organizations.
A minority from the Republican Party, including two members of the Constituent Assembly have rejected the decision and announced they will establish heir own independent organization.
Regional Conference of local representatives calls for new reforms
The Regional Conference of local representatives, hold in Kulmana, which gathered more than one hundred representatives from several towns and provinces, expressed support for the new majority in the Constituent Assembly and the new executive government established by the new leadership.
A majority of the regional conference also issued a ten-point manifesto, calling the government to introduce important reforms, particularly in the fields of economy, state administration, as well as military and judiciary reform. The manifesto also demanded a more radical agrarian reform as well as the nationalization of companies of the main economic sectors.

Chairman of the National Council for Internal Affairs is assassinated in Kulmana
Fatos Peci, Chairman of the National Council for Internal Affairs, has been killed after being shot twice by an assailant. Former leader of the Republican Party, Peci was one of the highest ranking officials since the fall of the monarchy. He was also a member of the Constituent Assembly and President of the People's National Party since last month.
Eqrem Dizdari, Speaker of the Constituent Assembly, has declared three days of mourning. It is unclear if the killer acted alone or they were backed by any group or political organization.
Both the leadership of the People's National Party and the National Council for Foreign Policy and National Security have declared that they will held special meetings tomorrow to discuss the situation following the murder of Peci.
